SIZING & FIT GUIDANCE

How accurate are the product sizing charts? How can I ensure the best fit on my first try to avoid a return and exchange?

According to customers:

  • Shoes/sneakers are true-to-size.
  • For shirts and hoodies, you may want to order a size up as these items tend to have a cozy fit -- and for some, it can be a bit too cozy. Remember: most of these products are unisex fitted. 
  • Overall, in shopping for clothing online: When in doubt, size up!

WASH & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How do I wash and care for my fashion apparel -- shirts, hoodies, baby onesie -- to keep it looking and fitting best?

  • Machine-wash cold, garment turned inside-out, ideally on a gentler cycle with a mild detergent and like colors.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach only when truly necessary.
  • You should not use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.
  • Air/hang-dry works best, but tumble-dry on a low cycle is okay, too.
  • If ironing, use low/cooler setting with the garment turned inside-out. Do not iron the printed art or text directly.
  • Follow these instructions carefully will help avoid fading and cracking, as well as shrinking of the garment that can occur if you wash or dry on a high setting.

How do I wash and care for other apparel -- neck gaiters and leggings -- to keep them looking and fitting best?

  • Machine-wash cold, garment turned inside-out, ideally on a gentler cycle with a mild detergent and like colors.
  • Do not use bleach.
  • Do not tumble-dry or dry-clean. Hang/air-dry only.
  • You may iron with a low/cooler setting.

How do I wash and care for my trucker hat?

  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth in the spots where it’s needed. If necessary, it can be hand-washed cold. Do not use brushes.
  • Do not machine-wash, use bleach, tumble-dry, iron, or dry-clean.
  • Read the label carefully for any other instructions.

How do I wash and care for my shoes / sneakers?

How do I wash and care for my ceramic mug?

  • Your mug is both microwave and dishwasher safe, but the print and coating will last longer if you hand-wash.

How do I wash and care for my tote bag or drawstring bag?

  • You may machine-wash on a cold cycle, ideally a gentler cycle. Do not use bleach.
  • Do not tumble-dry or dry-clean.
  • You may iron these bags with a low-heat / cooler setting.

    THE BRAND & ARTWORK

    Could my company, brand, school, sports league or team, or other group request customized apparel or products, or otherwise explore a meaningful collaboration with guitos?

    • Thanks for the interest! We'd love to hear what you're thinking. Email us at info@guitos.shop with a couple of your initial thoughts and needs. Include "Collab" in the subject line of your email, and be sure to mention any pressing event or other deadline dates. This way, we can prioritize our responses.

    I see a lot of amazing geckos on the homepage, but there are only a couple of collections available. When can I get one of the other geckos that I love on clothing and other products?

    • Thanks for the energy! Every person and project has to start somewhere. After many months of preparation, focus groups and conversations, designs and mockups, we decided to begin with two of the most favored geckos and products that were most commonly desired. These two gecko collections are considered "Collections 1.0" -- meaning more collections are coming in the months ahead, don't you worry. Most likely new geckos are coming out to enjoy the warming weather in early to mid-spring 2025, but other products are likely to be added to the Goldan and Luna (and Classics) collections between now and then -- so stay tuned.
    • Of course, we welcome your feedback. If you have strong preference for us to add a new type of a product to be added to a collection (like yoga pants, mugs, notebooks, whatever!), a combo variation of a gecko and logo that you don't see currently, or other color or "next gecko up" recommendations, definitely feel empowered to share with us at info@guitos.shop with "Suggestion" in the subject line. 
    • Not all of our gecko artwork is showcased on the homepage or elsewhere, but if you see one you love on our site or elsewhere, let us know! Similarly, if you like certain colors/color combos and/or gecko traits (like hats, glasses, horns, etc.) that you love more than others, email us with that, too. We're are taking all community feedback to determine what style geckos and products are released next, and we'll definitely do some community polling on our social media -- so again, stay tuned! 

    What is the story behind the company, brand and artwork?

    DISCOUNTS, PROMOTIONS & GIVEAWAYS

    Can I combine discount/promotional codes?

    • At checkout, we allow "stacking" or combined/simultaneous usage of (A) automatic discounts (example: on the Site, it indicates "Spend $150, Get $15 Off" that applies automatically when your order reaches this threshold)  with (B) gift cards / gift card codes that were previously purchased at full price.
    • You are not permitted to stack or combine (A) two discount/promotional codes that need to be manually entered at checkout, nor combine (B) one manual discount/promo code and an automatic site discount. For example: If you have one $5 Off code, and another for 10% Off, the one providing you the greatest savings will be applied.

    How do your online giveaways work?

    • For sweepstakes-style (no financial cost to enter) giveaways on this Site or Guitos LLC social media channels, all contestants must be at least 18 years of age to win. Proof of legal age may be requested and required in order to receive your prize. In winning, you agree to provide us with your full name, address and email address for our customer records, and agree to be added to our email list. You are personally responsible for any and all state and federal taxes potentially due by you for receiving said prize; we encourage you to consult a tax professional with any questions or concerns.

    • You agree to hold Guitos LLC completely harmless with respect to all sweepstakes, promotions and offers, special events, etc. - please see our Terms & Conditions for more details.

    Why are you only doing business in and shipping to customers in the United States (U.S.)? 

    • Starting a business is really hard! It takes a lot of time and money, attention to detail, and myriad legal and logistical issues if you want to do things right - which we do! So, for the time being, we are U.S.-only, but hopefully one day soon, with enough demand and resources, we'll expand our business to serve the rest of the world. (In the meantime, though, fans worldwide can still adopt the guitos values and lifestyle every day - be kind!)
